Coolcower House, Macroom

About

The House
Coolcower house is beautifully situated overlooking the River Lee with coarse fishing on the waters edge. This historic house was built in the 1800s but was tragically burnt down in 1921. It was subsequently rebuilt in the traditional style. Later a large glass conservatory and lounge bar were added in-keeping with this country house style, blending seemlessly into the original house. Coolcower House has been welcoming visitors for sixty years and has twelve en-suite rooms. There is extensive parking, beautiful riverside and avenue walks, with fishing along the lake.

Coolcower House is now owned and run by the O’ Callaghan family. All rooms are done to a high standard with all modern amenities one might want for a peaceful escape. TV, Hair-dryer, Hospitality Tray, Direct Dial Telephone, En-Suite bathroom included in every room.
